AC Milan could attempt to sign Inter midfielder Matias Vecino according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Inter are looking to thin out their squad and Vecino is among the list of players expected to be moved on and his future could well be with Inter’s crosstown rivals AC Milan.
AC Milan showed an interest in signing him back in January with reports at the time stating he and Franck Kessie could have been swapped and this report states that the Rossoneri club could make a loan offer for the Uruguayan national team player now.
Vecino joined Inter in the Summer of 2017 from fellow Serie A club Fiorentina and he still has just under two years left to run on his contract.
In the 2019/20 season, the 29-year-old made 25 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored three goals and provided one assist for his teammates.
