Mino Raiola wants his client Andrea Pinamonti to be given a contract worth over €3 million a year by Inter according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.
Pinamonti is expected to complete a return to Inter from fellow Serie A side Genoa and a new contract will need to be signed as Inter do not want to bring back a player whose contract with the club expires at the end of the 2020/21 season.
Pinamonti currently earns €2.2 million net a year and Raiola is looking for his client to be given an increase of about €50 to his current paypacket which would take his annual salary over the €3 million a year threshold.
An agreement has not been reached and the parties will meet again in the coming days for further talks. After yesterday’s meeting though negotiations for Pinamonti’s return to Inter have certainly come to life.
Last season 21-year-old made 34 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored seven goals and tallied three assists.
