Inter are at work trying to offload players in order to allow them to finalise a deal to bring Arturo Vidal to the club according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.
Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio met with Genoa yesterday to discuss the potential sales of both Antonio Candreva and Andrea Ranocchia.
Candreva is also being courted by Sampdoria and Genoa president Enrico Preziosi would like Inter to make a contribution to Candreva’s €2.5 million a year salary.
Ranocchia on the other hand is not convinced by the prospect of a return to Genoa, who he spent some time on loan at about a decade ago.
The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to state that Diego Godin is also on his way out of the club but before finalising a move to fellow Serie A side Cagliari, he wants a severance pay from Inter.
