Genoa are not alone in courting Inter central defender Andrea Ranocchia according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

The Rossoblu club have been linked with bringing the Italian back to the club for some time now but as per this report, they face competition from fellow Serie A clubs Parma and Sassuolo for his signature.

Parma have identified him as a replacement for the potentially outgoing Bruno Alves whilst Sassuolo see him as a potential replacement for Marlon, who is subject to interest from newly promoted Premier League side Fulham.

The report goes on to explain that the player would like to stay in Milan with Inter but it does not seem that there will be much space for him in the plans of Inter manager Antonio Conte in the 2020/21 season.

Ranocchia joined Inter back in 2011 and has since made 207 appearances for the club, in which he has scored 13 goals and tallied four assists.
