Inter manager Antonio Conte can now count upon a great variety of midfielders according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Last season there were times where Inter found themselves short in the middle of the park but net of sales, Conte has asked for, and obtained, seven players, who are capable of filling the three midfield slots.

Conte now finds his squad especially well stocked when it comes to attacking midfielders with him having Arturo Vidal, Christian Eriksen and Stefano Sensi all available to him.

Each of them have their own different qualities and way of playing the attacking midfield role and in short, there has been a great step forward for Conte’s midfield compared to last year.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to add that thanks to the abundance of options available, Inter will now no longer be so predictable for opponents, as they often were last year.
