Tottenham Hotspur will make another attempt to sign Milan Skriniar from Inter this weekend according to a report from the online edition of British newspaper The Evening Standard.

Having wrapped up a deal to bring Carlos Vinicius to the club, the report explains that Spurs will switch their attention back to bringing Skriniar in.

Inter recently confirmed that Skriniar was not for sale but Spurs are set to put that to the test with a formal bid for the Slovakian national team player.

Skriniar is Spurs boss Jose Mourinho’s number one transfer target for the defence but is not the only defender on their radar with the report stating they also have an interest in signing Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger, Beijing Guoan’s Kim Min-Jae and Juventus’ Merih Demiral.

Skriniar joined Inter back in the Summer of 2017 from Sampdoria in a player plus cash deal and has since went on to make 129 appearances across all competitions for the club.
