Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez will both start for Chile in their opening 2022 World Cup qualifier against Uruguay tonight according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Both Vidal and Sanchez have played in all three of Inter’s matches to date this season and will undoubtedly be key for Reinaldo Rueda’s side at the Estadio Centenario in the Uruguayan capital of Montevideo.

Vidal will make his 116th appearance for the Chilean national team tonight whilst Sanchez, who has the most appearances in Chilean national team history, will make his 133rd appearance for La Roja.

Charles Aranguiz, who has been linked with Inter in the past, will also be in the starting line-up to take on Uruguay as will former Napoli player Eduardo Vargas.
