Milan Skriniar is in with a chance of making a return to the Inter starting line-up in this weekend’s match away to Atalanta according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 25-year-old, who last appeared for Inter in the 1-1 draw versus Lazio on October 4, is back available for selection again having recently recovered from COVID-19.
The Slovakian made it onto the bench against Real Madrid earlier on this week but was an unused substitute in the Champions League encounter.
As per the report from the Milan based news outlet , Skriniar could be back in the Inter starting line-up for Sunday’s match with Atalanta in Bergamo and make just his third appearance across all competitions to date this term.
Skriniar could play in defence alongside Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni, a defensive combination used just once so far this season in the aforementioned match versus Lazio.
