Inter manager Antonio Conte is pondering dropping both Achraf Hakimi and Arturo Vidal from the Inter starting line-up for this weekend’s match away to Atalanta according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.
Neither Hakimi nor Vidal covered themselves in glory with their performances in Inter’s Champions League defeat to Real Madrid earlier on in this week and it is for this reason that Conte could potentially drop the two players from the starting line-up.
Hakimi was at fault for Real Madrid’s first goal as his poorly weighted back pass was capitalised on by Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema and thinks never got any better for him after that. Vidal on the other hand was not at his best and regularly gave the ball away when in possession of it.
The report from the Italian broadcaster has not given names of players who could potentially replace either the Moroccan at right wing-back or the Chilean in one of the two central midfield slots.
