Inter’s Chilean duo Alexis Sanchez and Arturo Vidal have been given authorisation to travel to Santiago, Chile, for international duty according to a report from Chilean broadcaster Al Aire Libre en Cooperative, which was broadcast earlier on today.
Sanchez and Vidal will both travel to the Chilean capital today ahead of La Roja’s 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Peru and Venezuela on Friday 13 November and Tuesday 17 November respectively. The duo should arrive in Santiago around dawn time on Tuesday.
This season Sanchez, who completed a permanent switch to Inter ahead of this season following a successful loan spell, has made seven appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has failed to score but has provided two assists for his teammates.
Vidal on the other hand, who joined from Barcelona in the Summer transfer window, has been ever present for Inter with him having appeared in all 10 of Inter’s matches to date but he has not made any goal contributions.
