Inter central defender Milan Skriniar arrived in his native Slovakia for national team duty earlier on this evening according to a report from the online edition of Slovakian news outlet Sport.

Skriniar, who has already had and recovered from COVID-19, was subjected to a COVID-19 test upon his arrival in his homeland alongside national team teammates Stanislav Lobotka, Lubomír Šatak and Dávid Hancko. Skriniar tested negative and trained alongside his teammates this evening.

The 25-year-old made a return to action for Inter at the weekend as the Nerazzurri drew 1-1 away to Atalanta. He played the full 90 minutes and this was his first appearance for the club since the start of October.

After his last appearance prior to Sunday’s match, he missed five of Inter’s match due to COVID-19.

Skriniar, who joined Inter in a player plus cash deal from Sampdoria back in the Summer of 2017, has made three appearances across all competitions to date this term but has not made any goal contributions.
