Inter manager Antonio Conte is building a complex Triplete model goal machine according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

In Serie A this season Inter have scored 26 goals in 10 games thus far with Romelu Lukaku having been absolutely fundamental for Inter with him having scored eight of the 26 goals.

Since his arrival in Italy the Belgian has scored 31 goals in Serie A with only Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo and Lazio’s Ciro Immobile having scored more than him.

Lukaku has formed a formidable partnership with Lautaro Martinez in the attack with the Argentine having scored five league goals this term. Behind them in the attacking pecking order there is Alexis Sanchez, who is showing signs of life and has scored two league goals.

Right wing-back Achraf Hakimi has scored three goals this season whilst Matteo Darmian has also shown that he can get on the score sheet as well – although not yet in the league.

Left wing-back Ivan Perisic meanwhile has one league goal. Danilo D’Ambrosio and Roberto Gagliardini have also popped up with a pair of goals each in the league this term.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to conclude that the Inter goal machine could improve with goals coming from Arturo Vidal and Nicolo Barella, two practically ever present features in the side, who are yet to find the back of the net yet.
