Inter number one goalkeeper and club captain Samir Handanovic was the Nerazzurri’s man of the match in last night’s 1-0 win over Napoli in Serie A at San Siro according to the player ratings published in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
Handanovic made big saves on shots from Lorenzo Insigne, Matteo Politano and Giovanni Di Lorenzo after Inter had taken the lead and these saves ultimately led to Inter securing the win. He has been given a rating of 8/10 for his performance in the win, which was Inter’s fifth in a row in Serie A.
Matteo Darmian and Nicolo Barella were Inter’s joint second best performers on the night with both the Italian wing-back and Italian central midfielder being given ratings of 6.5/10.
Milan Skriniar, Stefan De Vrij and Roberto Gagliardini were rated 6/10 for their performances in the match whilst Stefano Sensi and Achraf Hakimi both received ratings of 5.5/10. Alessandro Bastoni and Romelu Lukaku also got 5.5.
The worst performances of the night came from Marcelo Brozovic, Ashley Young and Lautaro Martinez with them all getting just 5/10.
