Inter manager Antonio Conte dreams of having Udinese midfielder Rodrigo de Paul as part of his Nerazzurri squad according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

As per this report, Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio will try to satisfy Conte by bringing in de Paul, even though Udinese are adamant about wanting €30 million and not wanting to deprive themselves of him in January.

Inter could try an acquire de Paul on an 18 month loan deal with an option to buy attached which would become an obligation under a certain condition or conditions but Inter’s accounts will not allow them to do an obligation to buy straight up.

Inter could possibly try to meet the demands of the Bianconeri club by spreading the cost of any deal over several years. In short it is very complicated as Udinese know it will be difficult to replace him.

The report goes on to add that the Argentine is tempted by a move to Inter. Inter are even willing to offer Matias Vecino on loan with some of his wages paid. It is meanwhile unlikely that Radja Nainggolan would accept a move to Udinese as he is set on a return to Cagliari.
