Inter have matched the club record for goals scored in a single calendar year after winning 2-1 away from home versus Hellas Verona on Wednesday evening, sports data and analytics company Opta have highlighted via Twitter.
Inter have scored a grand total of 108 goals during 2020 and this is the third time in the club’s history since the 1929/30 season that so many goals have been scored in a single year. Inter also achieved this feat in 1961 and more recently in 2007.
