Inter forward Alexis Sanchez partly trained with the squad yesterday and could be called up for tomorrow’s game against Crotone, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The report details how the 32-year-old Chilean forward, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2023, has been suffering from adductor problems for the last few weeks, which forced him to miss the last three games of the 2020 calendar against Napoli, Spezia and Hellas Verona.
Sanchez spent part of yesterday’s training session with the squad and part of it alone, meaning that he could be called up by Conte for tomorrow’s clash against the newly promoted side, although obviously he would be starting on the bench.
Neither Italian forward Andrea Pinamonti nor Uruguayan midfielder Matias Vecino will feature tomorrow, more likely to appear against Roma next weekend or against Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia the week after.
