It is starting to look a lot more likely that Inter will sign Joaquin Correa from Lazio to end the transfer window rather than Duvan Zapata from Atalanta. according to a report in the Italian print media.
As has been reported by La Repubblica today, Inter are much closer to Claudio Lotito’s valuation of Joaquin Correa, which is €40 million. It is known that if Inter bid €30 million as well as some bonus payments, the Roman club are likely to accept the deal.
At the moment, Inter CEO Beppe Marotta is hoping for a deal with €26 million and some bonus payments. The gap is not too big between the two teams now.
As for Duvan Zapata, Atalanta do not want to give Inter a discount of any sort because they do not need to sell the Colombian. They are sticking with their €40 million valuation of the striker and Inter are unlikely to meet that.
