Il Romanista reports today that Roma’s Dutch midfielder Kevin Strootman could have ended up in the black and blue-jersey instead. This because Strootman was often recommended to Marco Branca by Inter’s Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder during his time in Inter. The words of Sneijder however, fell down silent on the table. Instead, Kevin Strootman will be on the opposite side of the San Siro this Saturday as Inter takes on Roma.
