Inter are eyeing up a move for Borussia Monchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter on a free transfer next summer, though they would face competition from other top European clubs for his signature.
This according to German tabloid Bild, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are considering a summer move for the 27-year-old should he not agree a new deal at Gladbach, and that he is also being tracked by Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Atletico Madrid.
Ginter’s current deal with Gladbach expires at the end of June 2022, and he has not yet agreed on an extension with his current club.
The German club are still hoping for a renewal with the defender, but should he not agree on a new contract then the Nerazzurri could join the race to sign him when he becomes available as a free agent next summer along with a number of other top European sides.
