Inter could move to sign Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi this month should Stefano Sensi leave on loan for the rest of the season.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri could accelerate their pursuit for the 22-year-old to try and sign him this month should Sensi be on his way.

Frattesi is a major target for Inter in midfield, with the club working to get his signing from the Neroverdi secured for the summer.

However, they may not even wait this long in the event that Sensi leaves on loan, with the 26-year-old’s future still up in the air, and the possibility that the team could be left light in central midfield should he go ahead with a loan move.

Sensi had looked close to a move to Sampdoria on a dry loan for the rest of the season before his match-winning appearance from the bench against Empoli in the Coppa Italia, but now it’s not clear whether he will leave.
