Inter are working to secure the signing of Sassuolo’s Italian international striker Gianluca Scamacca before the summer transfer window opens.

This according to Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio who reported moments ago on air during his show Calciomercato L’Originale, that Inter will continue to work on securing Scamacca after January.

The former Roma youth team player has been linked strongly with a move to Inter in the summer, a deal that Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta began working on last summer.

A deal that Inter are looking to wrap up before the transfer window reopens this coming June according to Di Marzio.

“Inter want to wrap up the transfer of Gianluca Scamacca before the summer transfer window opens” Di Marzio stated.

Scamacca joined Sassuolo in January 2017 from PSV Eindhoven’s youth team signing a four and a half year deal with the Neroverdi.

Since then Scamacca has featured in 24 games across all competitions scoring nine goals in the process, all which have come this season in the Serie A.
