Inter wing-back Ivan Perisic has a very positive track record against AC Milan in the derby since joining the Nerazzurri from Wolfsburg in the summer of 2015.
Even though the 33-year-old will have been very disappointed that his team fell to defeat in yesterday evening’s derby, he did add to his personal tally with his opening goal in the first half.
Perisic’s record against the Rossoneri was highlighted in a tweet from football statistics company Opta.
Their tweet reads, “7 – Ivan Perisic has been involved in seven goals in 12 games against AC Milan in Serie A (two goals, five assists), his joint-most against a single opponent in the competition (seven also against Chievo and Fiorentina). Recurring.”
