Inter are set to meet with Ivan Perisic in the next few weeks to discuss the renewal of his contract with the club, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, there will be a new meeting between the player and the club in two or three weeks where a new offer will likely be presented to the Croatian winger to see if he will stay at the club beyond this current season.

Ivan Perisic has not been overly willing to reduce his salary to stay at the club so far and Inter may be forced to increase their initial offer of €3.5 million for a two-year deal.

The fact that Inter signed Robin Gosens in January does not change the situation. Ivan Perisic is yet to find a club that can offer him competitive football as well as a salary increase which is why he is open to talks again.
