Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu hit the crossbar with his team’s best effort of the night in a disappointing 2-0 loss to Liverpool in the Champions League, but the performance was still a positive one.

The Nerazzurri were left with the feeling that even though their finishing and a key error at the back had left them with a mountain to climb at Anfield in three weeks’ time, they showed their quality.

Calhanoglu posted a picture from the match afterwards on his Instagram account to show his pride.
