Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni is set to return to full training today ahead of Wednesday evening’s Coppa Italia final against Juventus.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 23-year-old is on track towards being fit for the clash with the Bianconeri.
Yesterday Bastoni was close to making a full return to training with the rest of the squad, participating in most of the activities but not yet risked in contact situations so as to not aggravate his calf problem.
However, this was largely precautionary and he should be able to make a complete return to training with the rest of the squad in today’s training session.
Should this be the case, then the defender will be ready to be available for Wednesday’s match against Juventus after having missed the team’s last three matches against Bologna, Udinese, and Empoli in Serie A.
