Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti has promised himself to Atalanta, and they see his signing as one of their main priorities for the summer transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that La Dea see Pinamonti as the ideal player to replace one of Duvan Zapata or Luis Muriel, but that they must now find an agreement with the Nerazzurri.

Pinamonti has no shortage of suitors for this summer, with the 23-year-old’s successful loan spell with Empoli last season having seen his reputation grow and with it transfer interest in him from clubs in Italy as well as abroad.

However, it looks to be Atalanta who he has decided he wants to join, and the Lombard club reciprocate this desire, as they see Pinamonti as the ideal striker to bolster their attack after Zapata and Muriel had not been reliable last season, partly due to injuries.
