Contact is continuing between Inter and Torino for Cesare Casadei despite the Gleison Bremer deal falling through, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Granata are still serious about designing inter youngster Cesare Casadei even though it will no longer be as part of a deal to bring Brazilian defender Gleison Bremer to Inter.

The idea was that Inter would give cash as well as Cesare Casadei for Gleison Bremer and they would retain a buy-back clause in the contract of the 2003 midfielder.

It is not yet clear how the makeup of the deal could change now that Inter did not get what they wanted from Torino. Thye could now just loan him out or they will need to agree on a fee with Torino for the transfer.

Gleison Bremer joined Juventus after they bested Inter’s bid.
