Napoli have made contact with the representatives of Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti to inquire about his availability this summer.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that the Partenopei are considering joining the race for the sought-after striker, who is also a target for the likes of Atalanta, Monza, Salernitana, and Sassuolo.

Atalanta have been closely following Pinamonti whilst Sassuolo have also emerged as serious candidates for his signature, whilst there is no shortage of other suitors for the 23-year-old, both in Serie A and elsewhere in Europe.

Napoli would also see Pinamonti as a possible target, having first made contact with the player’s agents last year but now having been very impressed by his loan spell with Empoli during the season just gone.

The Partenopei have contacted Pinamonti’s agents once again, to ask for information as they weigh up a move for him this summer as the race for his signature heats up.
