Salernitana have made Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti a contract offer worth €2.5 million net per season.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Campanian club are trying to convince the 23-year-old on a move by increasing his current wages following an agreement reached with the Nerazzurri.
Yesterday Salernitana found an agreement with Inter on a fee for Pinamonti, becoming the first club to do so despite no shortage of interest in the striker from teams in and outside of Italy.
The player’s agreement is yet to be found, however, and so now they will have to convince him that they are the right next destination for him.
Pinamonti’s thinking has been focused on Atalanta whilst the likes of Monza and Sassuolo are also in the frame for him, but apart from the sporting project that they can offer him, Salernitana are also prepared to offer him sizable wages.
