Inter are set to meet with the agent of forward Alexis Sanchez early next week about facilitating the exit of the 33-year-old, who is linked with a move to Marseille.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that Sanchez’s agent Fernando Felicvich will be at the Nerazzurri’s headquarters on either Monday or Tuesday.

Inter have been trying to convince Sanchez to leave the club by terminating his contract by mutual consent for much of the summer, and they may finally be close to doing so.

The club are ready to make a payment of €6-7 million gross to save on the €10 million gross that he is owed in wages on the final year of his contract.

The player is opening up to an arrangement with severance pay as he is more and more convinced by Marseille as his next destination, and his agent Felicevich will be at the club within the next few days for what could be the decisive meeting for sealing his departure.
