Lautaro Martinez, Romelu Lukaku, and Denzel Dumfries have come in for praise in Italian media for their displays in Inter’s 3-0 Serie A win over Spezia yesterday evening.
The trio were all awarded scores of 7/10 in the player ratings for the match published in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who argued that they were the most proactive and decisive influences in the easy victory for the Nerazzurri.
Inter played well as a whole against Spezia, and there were no weak links in the team as they looked much closer to their fluid best than they had in their opener against Lecce last weekend, moving the ball between the lines confidently all over the pitch.
However, the likes of Martinez, Lukaku, and Dumfries looked to be the three players who were always looking to force the issue, either moving the ball into the final third or showing their quality once they were already close to goal, and for Tuttosport they all warranted special mention.
Meanwhile, the Turin-based paper also noted the job done by Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi to set his team up for the win, also giving him a 7/10 grade.
