Inter are getting closer and closer to signing Francesco Acerbi on loan with an option or an obligation to buy.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that the agreement between the two club is in its final stages and the deal should be done within the next few days.

Inter’s contacts with Lazio have accelerated over the past few days, with Biancocelesti President Claudio Lotito opening up to an initial loan deal for Acerbi.

Now, they look to be just working out the final details of the deal, with the issue of whether the Nerazzurri will have an option or a mandatory obligation to sign the 34-year-old on a permanent basis at the end of the season yet to be worked out.

Meanwhile, Di Marzio also reports that the Biancocelesti have asked Acerbi to give up the wages that he is owed for the months of July and August in order to make the move to Inter happen.
