Don’t swap Ranocchia for Cannavaro, instead sell him for huge of money to chelsea, or city.. If chelsea wants to swap him for Luiz its not bad either. Other option is use the money from Guarin and Ranocchia to buy good players in middle, and bring Cannavaro in, gave him short contract 1-2 years while he can develop good bond with Campagnaro and Rolando.
Man, I’m totally agree with you.. Rolando is the best defender we had so far, and Ranocchia? Pfft.. Most blunders and most out of position perhaps..
Also, who cares if he’s the only italian in start XI?
Inter isn’t the Azzurri.. But if many people still insists for some italian players on the main team, we still have many Italian good players in primavera and others club waiting to go to the main team. Bardi, Bianchetti, Mira, Capello, Benassi etc is promising, its Brancas job to enhanced and prepared them.. Ranocchia? He may leave, BUT only with the right price.
Exactly I don’t see the problem people say about our defensive line. To me we have solid defenders and I am really surprised about Rolando being this good (he rarely does a mistake). Rano, Juan, Rolando, Campa, Samuel, Andreolli and Chivu = Good enough. Probably for next year replace Samuel and Chivu and do our best to keep Rolando, but no panic for January. Feels like the majority of the conceived goals happens when a midfielder loses the ball in a dangerous situation and then a fast counter-attack occurs… –> Better midfielder (preferably a destroyer).
as u can see on our results we surly need a defender. we are able to score like 2 or 3 goals in a game, but we concede 3-4 goals. so we really need to rebuild the defence…
Yes we do concede too many goals. But if you look at the way the goals are conceded then, I argue, it is mainly due to mistakes further up in the field. Also need to take into consideration that 2/3 to 1/3 (depending on who is starting) of the backline is new to this season. Of course if we had a lot of money I would not say no to spending on a quality defender, but in the situation we are in the CB’s along with GK are the parts where least investment should take place. Priority should be on a DM, 1-2 wingbacks and potentially a striker/forward imo. But perhaps my view is coloured by that I am a retired CB 😉
ur pretty right with that but ranocchia lacks in positioning. another option would be that mazzari change his formation. this 3-5-1-1 is pretty out of date. he should play modern football. something like the 4-2-3-1 formation would be nice. like inter in 2010… but we will see
Inter sporting directors should think wisely before they make desicions.Selling Guarin and Ranocchia is not the solution to our problems,don’t forget that we are at year zéro.We should not repeat the mistakes we made by selling Coutinho,Davide Santon and Mariano.we still have future ahead of us.Please Erick Thohir tout add to our problems.
Dont buy cannavaro…with guarin’s departure,we can buy another DM,maybe we can keep rano with this way?
i think no problem with the defense,the main problem is in midfield,we need player like Handerson (liverpool),Fernando (Porto),or Yaya Toure,,good passing & accurate tackle,,but Branca is smarter than me anyway..hahaaa!
Belfodil can leave since WM is not relying on him. Rano-Cannavaro swap? No way. Don’t even think about it. People say Inter has a problem in defense. But they urge Inter to sell its best defender so far this season? Nonsense. Rano has a great future with Internazionale. Plus he is only an Italian in starting XI. Instead, Inter should think about changing its formation to 4-defender tactics.
