Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is hoping to be fit to play against Juventus in the Nerazzurri’s Serie A clash on November 6.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 29-year-old will undergo more medical tests this week and that the target is for him to be ready to play against the Bianconeri.

Brozovic has been out with a thigh strain that has caused him to miss the Nerazzurri’s four matches since the return from the international break.

The Croat picked up the injury whilst on international duty, and has not rushed back over the past few weeks.

Brozovic’s recovery should not take longer than a few weeks, however, and there is a decent chance of seeing him back on the pitch for the Nerazzurri prior to the World Cup.

The 29-year-old will undergo tests this week which should determine whether or not he is able to return in early November.
