Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is likely to be ready to make an appearance during the Nerazzurri’s friendly match against Real Betis on Saturday.
This according to the online edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 29-year-old is aiming to participate in the match over the weekend to start building up match fitness ahead of the return of the Serie A season.
Lukaku is back in full training with the rest of Inter’ squad, and the aim now will be for him to reach his best condition for when the Nerazzurri face Napoli at the start of next month.
To this end, the Belgian will do everything he can to take advantage of the team’s friendlies scheduled against Betis, Reggina, and Sassuolo during the rest of the World Cup break.
Lukaku is working in training with the aim of being ready to appear during Saturday’s friendly against Betis, and according to the Corriere, he should be ready to do so.
