Inter CEO Beppe Marotta is keeping track of a number of possible transfer opportunities for next summer, with Borussia Monchengladbach’s Marcus Thuram only one high-profile name.

This is highlighted by Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who note that there are seven prospective players who could follow the same path as Andre Onana and Henrikh Mkhitaryan who joined on free transfer last summer.

The biggest coup for Marotta and Inter would surely be to sign Gladbach striker Thuram, although they would have to beat out significant competition for the Frenchman’s signature when his contract runs out at the end of June.

Meanwhile, two other Gladbach players are on Marotta’s radar for free transfers, namely wingback Ramy Bensebaini and goalkeeper Yann Sommer.

Sommer is joined by two other goalkeepers on Marotta’s list, namely Bournemouth’s Neto and Boca Juniors’ Agustin Rossi.

In defense, the Nerazzurri CEO is keen on Valencia’s Mouctar Diakhaby and Roma’s Chris Smalling as possible free transfer arrivals.
