Inter’s biggest transfer target seems desperate to leave London this January.
Speaking to LaLazioSiamoNoi, the father of Erik Lamela, Jose, said today that “Erik is not happy and would love to return to Italy.” He went on to add, “Of the interest of Lazio I know nothing. Could he join Lazio after he was at Roma? I don’t know…” He did make one thing very clear though, “Tottenham does not want him to leave in January.” Inter face an uphill battle to land the player bought for €37 million just last summer.

Inter must try their best to sign Lamela because it is not impossible. Inter has a great historical experience with Argentinian players and plus Thohir is not a man who has nothing to invest in players. Just offer Tottenham 2 players plus cash (probably 15-20m) for Lamela because he can do really really well at Inter!

I hope Inter or Lamela’s dad are willing to pay the 30 mill plus wages splurged out… Anyway, by the time he gets back to Italy his whole family would have resettled to London.
He is having trouble settling in England, obviously a great player but he seems close to his family who I would think he is missing, I hope Tottenham will keep him for a full season to see if they can get the best out of him.
