Inter forward Joaquin Correa is very likely to be out for all of the rest of February as he recovers from a thigh strain.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 28-year-old will likely not recover from his latest injury setback in time to play any matches until next month.
Correa will have been bitterly disappointed to miss the Milan derby on Sunday, as the Argentine had only suffered a strain to his right thigh in the training session the day before the match.
The former Lazio, Sevilla, and Sampdoria forward is certainly set to miss at least a couple more matches for the Nerazzurri with this latest injury, and it is very probably that it will be more than that.
Correa is almost certainly set to be out on the sidelines for the Nerazzurri’s Champions League round of sixteen first leg match against Porto later this month.
As far as when the Argentine will return to being fit and available in the squad, Tuttosport report that it is probably realistic to look at matches in March.
