Porto are hoping that they can have forward Evanilson and midfielder Otavio fit and available for their Champions League round of sixteen first leg match against Inter next week.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Portuguese champions will be without winger Wanderson Galeno and midfielder Mateus Uribe, whilst defender Wendell and defender Fabio Cardoso could be back as they deal with a number of injuries.

Whereas Inter are likely to have all but one or two players from their squad available for next Wednesday’s Champions League clash at the San Siro, their opposition could be missing some key players.

The likes of Galeno and Uribe are set to miss out as they will not recover from muscle injuries in time for the match.

Meanwhile, the Portuguese side are hoping to have both Wendell and Cardoso back in time for Saturday’s league meeting with Rio Ave, and this could mean that the pair will be fit fore Wednesday’s match.

The status of Evanilson and Otavio is up in the air, but given that the pair are regulars in Porto’s starting eleven, the Portuguese team will not want to be without them.
