Edin Dzeko looks to be favoured over Romelu Lukaku to start in attack for the Nerazzurri in tomorrow evening’s Champions League round of sixteen second leg away to Porto.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 36-year-old is the likelier of the two strikers to lead the line from the start alongside Lautaro Martinez in tomorrow’s match.
Whilst Martinez’s place in the starting eleven is hardly in any question, in recent matches both Dzeko and Lukaku have each lined up alongside the Belgian.
Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi has yet to really make his mind up on either of the pair either from the start or from the bench.
In the first leg of the tie against Porto, Dzeko started and it was Lukaku who came off the bench and scored the match’s only goal.
According to the Gazzetta, it should be the former Roma and Manchester City striker who once against starts against the Portuguese champions.
