Porto striker Evanilson is set to be fit and available for tomorrow evening’s Champions League round of sixteen second leg match against Inter at the Estadio do Dragao.

This according to today’s print edition of Portuguese newspaper O Jogo, via FCInterNews, who report that the 23-year-old Brazilian is back in training and that there is very little doubt that he will be called up for tomorrow evening’s match.

Whilst Porto will certainly be without midfielder Otavio in tomorrow evening’s match due to suspension after the Portuguese international was sent off during the first leg of their round of sixteen tie, the status of striker Evanilson has been one of their main doubts.

The 23-year-old has been working to get back to fitness, although it hadn’t been certain whether he would recover in time.

According to O Joga, Evanilson will be fit enough to be called up for the match.

What is less certain is whether or not the striker will be fit enough to be in the Portuguese side’s starting eleven.
