During the post-match press conference, Bologna’s head coach Davide Ballardini answered questions regarding the 2-2 result achieved against Walter Mazzarri’s Inter. Here is what Ballardini had to say:

You failed to score at the final opportunity of the game, are you disappointed that you didn’t manage to win or are you satisfied with a draw? 
“It was a great performance, a loss would not have been a fair result. We are satisfied and see the game very positively, we created several chances and that is something that makes us happy”.

FcInterNews.it asked: kan you put a grade on Rene Krhin’s season so far and explain why Laxalt is still kept outside the match squad?  
“Krhin is playing very well, he has power, technique and a lot of quality. Laxalt on the other hand has not deserved a spot in the team lately. There are others who deserve it more than him”.

Why didn’t you talk to Sky?
“They show no respect to my profession”.

A comment on Acquafresca? 
“A striker should score goals and take penalty kicks. He definitely deserves to be here”.

Would you say that the team is in good form? 
“I think that we did well against Atalanta. Three-man defence? The important thing is to train hard. In the earlier game Kone was missing. Thankfully he has returned to fitness now”.

Does this result send a statement?   
“I have alwas said that we are a team that works hard and when we have had all our players available, we have always shown our quality”.

To manage a draw at the San Siro must be a great boost to your confidence?  
“We must make sure we prepare well for the next game”.

Were you able to predict the way Inter were going to play?
“Yes certainly, my only doubt was whether Kovacic would start the game or not”.

You scored two regular goals today after a lot of goals coming from set pieces. Is this encouraging?  
“It’s true, but we had several chances against Atalanta as well. Today we were very good, even though we could have done even more”.
