Starting with Hector Cuper’s appointment in 2001 @InterStats have compiled the records of all that have followed in the Argentinian’s footsteps. To qualify each coach must have been on Inter’s bench for at least the 35 games that Walter Mazzarri has served up until now. The results are fairly clear. Mazzarri has had the worst start to an Inter coaching career that anybody has suffered in 14 years (aside from Alberto Zaccheroni). The ex Napoli boss will be hoping that things can only get better from this point onwards otherwise qualifying for a Europa League spot could prove problematic.

Hei lestat buddy below, i just wanna say that i agree with you, and such a nice classic french phrase you said there, so direct and strike to the point phrase, it suits him well though haha. And my suggestion to this site is, can’t you just remove the comments column? I think it’s better that way rather than the endless debates, especially with the person who knows nothing act though LoL
Inter has a 0 % penalty kick conversion rate after 35 games this season – by far the worst ever!! so if i was an Inter fan, don’t complain about not getting pk’s because when you do get the call you don’t capitalize on them anyways.
WM complains that he is not getting the penalty calls but the truth is his team lines up around the 18 yard box and expects the action to come from the flanks………….it’s absolutely boring. there is no creativity and it’s his style of soccer that sucks and makes this team weak in offence. As far as the Inter losing streak in January, he did the same thing at Napoli with a team that had Cavani, Hamsik, Zuniga, Insigne etc……..working hard and playing defensivce does not mean success in Serie A.
When WM was at Napoli, He left Insigne to rot on the bench and Benitez plays him now so it’s his choice to go with veterans instead of youth. If inter is in debt they need to sell and invest the future in youth but there are some fans that are patient and some that have no patience. I would look at the team and say “we are not in a position to be in Champion’s league for at least a few years so let’s at least play entertaining soccer. Everyone remembers Strama’s team at the end of last season being defeated but nobody remembers that at one point in last season he was 1 point behind Juve.
When you look at points earned, he’s actually tied with Ranieri for dead least…
Mourinho – 75 points
Cuper – 69 points
Mancini – 69 points
Stramacioni – 69 points
Zaccheroni – 52 points
Ranieri – 56 points
Mazarri – 56 points
Actually not true, Zaccheroni had less points.
Strama was better… Even with the crisis.
Can anyone tell Mazzarri that there are also other formations available in football world?
Inter is not used of playing this old fashion formation in last 15 years….
Change the formation for God’s sake!!!!!
Where is Rafael “Fatman” Benitez? LOL
Strama had picked up 27 points after his first 11 games of the season and in those 11, seven of them were consecutive wins. His Inter side were the first to beat Antonio Conte’s ‘Invincible’ Juve away from home, grabbed a win ‘away’ against Milan and beat Fiorentina at home. They did all this whilst being forced to cope with the extra workload that came with partaking in the Europa League. Trips to Azerbaijan, Romania and Russia all came in those early months of the young Coach’s tenure.
It all seemed to be running so smoothly for young Strama until the injuries started to kick in..
oh my gosh… Strama was better than the rest and he is second best after the special one. With more than half of the square were injured, of course he will fail at that time. Even Mourinho would fail too in the same situation.
bielsa
Strama better than WM. Fact!
Mazzarri is a great coach and I am happy he is at Inter. Next year will be the first real year that I think we will see how good of a coach he really is. This squad has so many problems, but I am confident that Thohir is taking us in the right direction. Both from a management perspective and the player signings. We won’t be signing any Schellottos, Pereiras or Rocchis. This is a team that finished in 9th place last year. It has been a very unlucky year for Inter but I think we all know they have the potential to be great if we fix a few weak parts. I know that there will be some great summer signings and we will see Inter challenging for trophies and Mazzarri will lead the way! If we can clinch Europa league for next season during a transitional year we should all realize that Inter are heading towards big things which is obviously where we belong.
Perfect bro! Finally someone that knows what they are talking about! Thumbs up! 🙂
I totally agree Walter Mazzarri should stay on has coach next season because in total honesty he has not been given a fair chance to prove himself, He has also not lost as many games as his 3 predecessors have. We all aren’t gonna like some of the choices he has made with leaving younger promising Inter players on the bench and his 3 man tactical system but it has effective at times and has us in reach of a UCL spot. Mazzarri was also not given a good transfer budget nor given the players that he has asked for the last two transfer windows. He has also kept the team together through rough slumps and the ownership change. Erick Thorir has to keep this in mind to he has to do his part as well by giving Mazzarri a war chest of funds for the summer transfer market like he promised Inter management and fans when he took over. He has to stop giving the excuse that we need to sell to buy we aren’t a low budget or bottom of the table team, Moratti has proven that we don’t need to sell to buy in the past by breaking the world transfer recorded 2x(Ronaldo in 1997 and Christian Vieri 2000). Inter are going to have a massive clear out this summer and have all summer to bring in good quality signing. Thorir and Mazzarri will have to look at bring in at least 4-5 players in and start using the youth players like Bessa, Benassi, Duncan, Mbaye, Longo, Laxalt and Bardi. We will have to just wait in see what direction Thorir will want to in the next few months whether its with Mazzarri or another coach.
In case you didnt know, “THAT” way Moratti is doing like youve said above are the main reason why Inter are in big debt now. And for your information again, Thohir isnt as rich as Moratti, do your homework pal, just a little research on the internet, youll find that Thohir isnt on top 50 of indonesian richest man, and by buying Inter, he spend almost 1/3 of his money, THAT is why he said that he wanted to make Inter who rely on the youth, No more Morattis way!
Uh and hes been generous enough buying Hernanes and D’ambrosio which Mazzarri is asking for, so no reason anymore for him.
Business 101 Lestat. Since you know so much about the world of football business. You should know Moratti was never on FORBES 50 RICHEST MAN LIST but made sure to find the funds to build Inter. If he didn’t dig deep into his investors and his pockets we would have never been a competitive club nor won trophy’s or the famous treble from 2007-2010. You should also know that top clubs like Inter get there investment back from SPONSORS AND JERSEY SALES ALONE. You should also know that Erick Thohir is a billionaire with many Asian and American investors his older brother is on the list of FORBES RICHEST INDONESIAN BUSINESS MEN AT #18 which Erick has already asked him to invest in the club and he is also globalizing the Asian market for Inter and bringing in Man U marketing man for next season.Thohir has already bought Vidic for next season and will have the whole summer to make good quality signings, He has already been working on future signings if he didnt have the cash to invest he would have Inter linked to many high and low profile players. Also for your info Mazzarri asked for Juan Zuniga and Mauricio Isia two wingers that Inter could get for him bc both Napoli and Juve were giving a hard tim selling, D’ambrosio and Hernanes were bough out of desperateness bc the was full of injuries and Mazzarri need reinforcements fast or the season would have been a disastrous and not even close to a europe spot. You should really do alot more research then just a few post there and there on this site before you talk out your ass and think its like your FIFA 14 Career mode.
@ElLoboNerrazurri83 three letters for you; FFP.
When you learn about it start writing again..
To ElPrincipe- You sound dumb with your FFP. You must have taken it to heart about what I said to your boy Iestant. You should shovel your FFP comments to clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, LIverpool, PSG, Monaco,Bayern Munich and Italian clubs like Roma and Napoli that the majority of there players are foreigners but FIFA allows it bc why? 2 words EU PASSPORTS. I would love for THE FIFA to tell all the clubs in Europe that they can only have 3 foreign players regardless of where there from like it was like many years ago. It made the leagues more competitive not just a one or two horse race, but its not gonna happen anytime soon bc football clubs need to have certain players on there squads for commercial reasons. THE FIFA knows all this if there FIFA FAIR PLAY rules are so strict why haven’t they cracked down on all big spending clubs and owners? Its all about money and who has the bigger stick to show who’s more dominate. You should deff learn how to write like a adult instead of a 2nd grade leveler.
I might eventually talk harsh and crazy here, but I have double master degree in business and psychology so im not really that stupid you know.
So basically youre saying that Thohir is richer than Moratti? thats a big mistake LOLL.
so you think that Garibaldi Thohir will say yes to join and invest with his brother? There is still uncertainty there, as long as its not official theyll always called “rumours” And do you think if Inter does collapsed he will help his brother? LOLL again, if thats happen, they will sell the club, brotherhood wont help.
So you think that expanding the market especially in sports, especially in football, especially in italy is simple as a pie? LOLL
You wanna see the easiest way of a club going global? Go learned about man.u histories, how they evolve and going global, at first stage, buying stars isnt their priorities, until you have stable monetary you cant go royal on it, except if youre a sultan with unlimited money then its a different story.
What im trying to say is, indeed we are trying to fix the team but we cant do that instantly, not with just an “ordinary” man as the owner. And for a long term solution young players can be the key. Buying a free star is okay, but how many are star players for free out there? LOLL even Hernanes are pricey.
So, if Hernanes and D’ambrosio are coming from a desperate mind whos fault was that? Thohir? LOLL go blame Mazzarri for that, he must have talk with Thohir about the transfers, it proves only that Mazzarri cant face the pressures. Now think again, if he really want to do the same way as Moratti he will bought us some big and pricey stars out there, but he didnt right? He CAN buy pricey stars but he choose NOT to do it. If he do that, it will make him walk the same path as Moratti. Yes he gave us treble, but his moves are never for a long term, it is for instant and short term only, now after the trebles we are just as good as shit and you were asking Thohir to do the same mistakes? Yes we will win treble again in 2016 but collapsed just like Rangers did the next year, is that what you want? LOLL
Ever bother to read about FFP policy and the core of it? LOLL Thats why Moratti is selling his club.
All of that problems plus the big debts Thohir need to pay, plus the plan to build new stadium, and you ask him to do Morattis way? LOLL youngsters is the answer, maybe not totally young but most of them, and Mazzarri simply isnt the right coach for that. Firing coaches indeed is Morattis way, but i dont mind if its about Mazzarri, last year Strama is worth to defend for, but Mazzarri really doesnt worth it, simply ugly attitude thats all. Oh and by the way im not playing fifa anymore since maybe about 10years ago, i didnt have time for that and i think im too old for that too. LOLL
Well you do sound idiotic and by throwing out that you have a double masters in business and psychology makes you well above all us Nerrazzuri Fans on this site. LOL If your are a psychologist major you wouldn’t have written a comment that long, cared or even thrown your degrees cause no one cares what you accomplished in life. Im saying yes to your repeated question that Thohir is much richer then Moratti or he would have bought 70% of Inter Milan and trying to buy the full 100%. Erick Thohir owns the Philadelphia 76’s and DC United two historic clubs for many years. This is outside his communications business. His older brother Garibaldi Thohir has already expressed in buying a stake in Inter and helping fund his brothers rebuilding project to make it a family business in one of the worlds elite clubs, there both billionaires and they both have co ownership to some communications companies in Asia together. I really don’t think you understand how global marketing works?Thohir wants to continue the global marketing strategies in Asia that Moratti started in 2012. Its to bring new investors and sponsors to fund transfers and a new stadium this doesn’t have to come out of Thohir’s pockets, as a business major you should know that!?? It also means that there going to build more football academy’s in Asia and any where else they feel that football will grow. Its all about commercializing Inter making them more appealing for new investors and sponsors to invest in the club that when more cash flow comes the club. Moratti was funding Inter basically all by himself and if he continued in that route he was going to go broke and decided that selling now was best for the club going forward. Moratti didnt have the muscles to continue so he sold Inter to someone that can possibly make Inter Grand again. Manchester United globalized and thats why there still one of the richest clubs in the world ALL COMMERICAL AND SPONSORS! Im not saying buy tons of expensive players I would love to use our young players and see how they develop like Arsenal,
Manchester United and Barcelona but the team still needs veteran mature leadership to compete in Seria A and Europe. We have a ton of very promising players in Bessa, Benassi, Duncan, Mbaye, Longo, Laxalt and Bardi and we did at one point have Santon, Calderiola, Donati, Coutinho and Balotelli but were sold because of Branca. The winter transfer situation is all on Thohir because he came in to late into the transfer window to make more deals he only had a week and had a whole Guarin Juve issue to deal with. Mazzarri wasn’t to blame on who came in he asked and they gave him options and took the best available options. I don’t want us to make the same mistakes like Morratti that funded the team with his own money but to have many investors and sponsors come to us like Barca, Man U and Real Madrid ect ect and and develop of youth players, and like i told your amigo ElPrincipe You should shovel your FFP comments to clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, LIverpool, PSG, Monaco,Bayern Munich and Italian clubs like Roma and Napoli that the majority of there players are foreigners but FIFA allows it bc why? 2 words EU PASSPORTS!!! It doesn’t take a rocket scientist nor a double major in business and psychology to know some of these meaning less thing bc at the end of the day it doesn’t matter what we think its The Inter management that decides whats best for the club. Since your old and I really cant figure out something? you being a major in Psychology and Business that you sound so ignorant when in you comments JUST SHUT UPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!! YOU SOUND DUMB!!!
So what if i wrote long and boast here? Its my right, right? LOLL
So, youre saying viva group and Erick other businesses are bigger and richer than Moratti Saras group? Haha very funny, i cant stop laughing, Erick is not richer than Moratti, thats fact.
Your first post that i gave a comments one are talking about buying star players include twice world record breaking, so its normal if i take it as you wanted something spectacular, or even another world breaking record as you wish, thats kinda gross LOLL. And you might deny it as much as you want, but the youth youre mention above wont be useful as long as Mazzarri is head coach, thats fact.
And from what I read you do assume so much, few are facts LOLL do you really there 24 hours with them to know the real whole story yourself? So do i, i made some assumptions as well but not as much as you. I told you to go learn on man.u history and how they transform global, but you didnt, didnt you? LOLL if its really as simple as you thought it will be, then its gonna be an easy job. I didnt say building a stadium is using his own money didnt i? All of that efforts still needed resources, a lot. Also im telling you, go learn about the FFP to the deep core of it, youre touching only the surface of that policy you know? Or should I tell you the whole rooted detail of the policy? Should i gave a lecture about business too? Its really not that simple as you thought it was LOLL.
Im done and tired with all of this Jekyll and Hyde games, vous devez en savoir plus, passer pour un idiot aux yeux d’un imbecile est une volupte de fin gourmet. Hahaha, au revoir…….
You know Lastat the more and more you comment back the more and more you sound like a animli ignoranti. Why don’t you enlighten us all why Moratti’s investment group is far richer the Thohir’s and how Moratti’s group couldn’t clear the books at Inter? When Florentino Perez and The Glazers buy the best high profile players money can buy for years and still have the capital to buy more and more with out a limit? Players from all over the globe? And how Barcelona get a lucrative 96 million euro SPONSOR deal from Qatar airways? And why it seems to be a bad idea for Inter to GLOBALIZE? WHEN WE CAN BE GETTING LUCRATIVE DEALS AS WELL BY GLOBALIZING OUR MARKET? SINCE YOUR THE BUSINESS EXPERT! I LOVE FOR YOU TO LECTURE ALL OF US NERRAZURRI FAN ON GLOBALIZING AND THE FIFA FAIR PLAY RULE/POLICIES? I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR VERY LAST WORD MR. BUSINESS MAN! BECAUSE IT SEEMS THAT THE FIFA FAIR PLAY POLICY ONLY IMPLIES TO INTER MILAN!? WHILE YOUR AT IT LET US ALL KNOW WHY MAZZARRI WOULDN’T BE THE RIGHT COACH FOR OUR YOUTH PLAYERS?WHEN HE HAS DONE MIRACLES THIS SEASON WITH ALVAREZ, JOHNATHAN, ICARDI AND IS WORKING TO MATURE A 19 YR KOVACIC, HOW ABOUT HIS WORK IN NAPOLI WITH ZUNIGA,FERNANDEZ,HAMSIK AND LAVAZZI?? OR CASSANO AND PAZZINI AT SAMPDORIA?? YOU FORGET ABOUT THOSE YOUTH PLAYERS OLD MAN??LOL IF YOU HAVE READ THIS FAR LESTAT I KNOW IVE PINCHED A NERVE AND AS A PSYCHOLOGY MAJOR THIS SHOULDN’T BOTHER YOU AT ALL AND YOU WOULD BOTHER WRITING BACK! LOL PERCHÉ SI SENTE UN IGNORANTE ANIMALE CON MEZZO CERVELLO. CIAO SUINO FRANCESE! LOL EVERYONE TAKE NOTES ON LESTAT’S MARKETING AND BUSINESS STRATEGIES IT MIGHT BE VERY USEFUL COMING FROM A MAJOR IN BUSINESS 🙂 LMAO P.S- The way you write lestat hasn’t been impressive at all very childish and immature that’s why you sound ignorant and highly doubt you ever went to collage to get 2 degrees LOL You wouldn’t sound as dumb as you do in each of you comments and replies!!! LOL
well, someone with brain and heart intact. nice one mate. keep him at least another year to build the base of the team as what cuper and mancini did and then perfected by mou
You guys need to take some strong pills…… All of u. Especially the first post Peter the defender of WM shit….
and i’m guessing you’re on a high state when you wrote that. how many pills did you take?

And also the worst squad
wow…
Strama is second best 🙂
scrama is benter than wm
Compare the players
Arent Mazzarri says that this is the first team he has worthy of scudetto? So the players shouldnt be a reason pfftt.
HA HA HA… And statistic never lie arent they? LOLLL Mazzarri out at the end of the season, period!
