Interviewed by Sky, former Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni talked about his time at Inter, and current coach Walter Mazzarri. Here are his words: “Inter will always be in my heart. What I’ve been through in those 2 years in Milan, looking at the black and blue colors, you can never forget.” Strama then sent a indirect message to his successor Walter Mazzarri: “I hope you do well at Inter and achieve you’re goals.”

i was one of Interisti who refused Strama get fired, last season we can’t reach Europe competition is because half of our squad was injured. And when Strama get fired, the only one i hope to replace him was Diego simeone, but Moratti has chosen Mazza.
I MISS YOU STRAMA, FUCK THE MAZZARI, STRAMA IS BETTER EVEN HE IS INEXPERIENCED
dont tell me strama is inexperience… Even with the injury he is still far better than WM. HE GAVE ME A TEAM I CAN TRUST. I THINK WM IS THE INEXPERIENCE HERE IF YOU LOOK AT THE RECORDS
AGREE, EVEN ALMOST HALF OF THE TEAM INJURED, HE STILL BETTER THAN MAZZAROON, I WANT HE REPLACING MAZZAROON NEXT SEASON
That’s why i support Stramacioni to stay last season. Same like i support Mazzari now. Bringing new coach doesn’t always mean better result, it can be a lot worse. What Mazzari achieve with Napoli is not a one season job. Inter have 2 years contract with him, let him do his job & support him.
Too bad Inter always making the same mistake. Im one of the minorities who support Strama to stay last season, and now interisti want to do the same mistake by Firing Mazzari. My point is that replacing Mazzari is not automatically solving problem, its still a gamble & a costly gamble. The Replacement who Interisti here want like Simeone, Mourinho or De Boer is kinda unrealistic as they doing well & also a legend in their current club.
Its good that we have Thohir who acts like a President and not act like a Fans.
“Its good that we have Thohir who acts like a President and not act like a Fans.”
what u said here is exactly why moratti sold inter to thohir, he reacts before he thinks. The fans need to change their mentality as well to receive constant support for the team. I dont want to say this but i have to, English premier league usually back up their team no matter what. Now last match against bologna the commentator of bt sport said ” the fans seems to be protesting against a player who is not on the field, they are saying Guarin OUT”, to what extent this is true i dont know as i was not on the stands (i doubt a commentator would make this up though), however what kind of message are the fans sending to the team here, if a player made a mistake in the previous match you cannot i repeat cannot do that, especially in the situation were in.. we need to develop these players into champions and protesting to a player thats not on the field i mean come on. These players are still developing for gods sake.
The commentator said that in the break between 1st and 2nd half .. and i hope the fans intentions was to play kovacic( which every inter fan want him to play, including myself ).. if thats the case then say PLAY KOVACIC..
90% of the ppl saying they miss strama and want him to return is the same ppl that says “sack strama” last season
So, I am on the 10 % category
which 90% do you actually speak about?? i think 90% people who said missed strama are the same people who refused to let him go last season, including me
His training methods undoubtedly contributed to the massive injury list. However, I remember watching the NextGen final in London and then checking Ranieri’s side play Juve. The Primavera side was better! Then I saw Juve miss their 50th unbeaten performance at the hands of Strama’s Inter and thought Moratti had done great by Inter by risking all.
Ultimately WM’s 3 man defence is an arrangement I will pick every time in Fifa but only a 4 man back line works in the real world. Strama’s preferred 4-2-3-1 understood that. Maybe WM needs to stop playing Fifa in order to grasp the same subtlety?
Conte’s Juventus & Mazzari’s Napoli doing preety fine…
Juve is on the way to their 3rd scudetti in a row with 3 man defence. Im preety sure that’s not FIFA.
They did well domestically because Serie A has declined. Juve and Napoli can’t compete with the European giants.
Also referring to other points below a 3 man defence with wing backs is to all intents and purposes a 5 man catenaccio style defence with 2 centre backs, 2 full backs and a sweeper. That formation is lethal-look at Herrera’s Inter. But the required full backs are incredibly rare-the likes of Giacinto, Roberto Carlos, Dani Alves… Inter can’t get hold of 2 such players nowadays let alone suitable substitutes. Ergo 3 man defence with wing backs/5 man defence is not really the way forward. Better to follow the standard 4 man back line on this.
and we can’t compete with Juve & Napoli while they using the 3/5 man defence
with the right players for a 3 man defence u can do fine aswell.
in case u forgot, we ruined rube’s stadium with 3 at the back. and another mention, the formation strama used the most last season was a 3 defender formation, thank you
Well i would call it more like a 5-2-3 with the players we had, but something like that and a 3-4-3. You just reminded me to watch the game again, THAT is identity, coming from 1-0 down at Jube stadium after 17 seconds to win 3-1, was that to happen tomorrow we would lose 6-0..
what he’s doing now by the way?
if he still wanna be good coach, he need to gain his experiences.
or perhaps, nobody is brave enough to try Strama? even genoa chose to stick with that gasperini again rather than trying Strama (which was rumored at that time to take spot at genoa).
He is taking courses for the top license of coaching
Stram legion, if it wasn’t for injuries and that fool cassano we would have been in ecl for sure
After JM exist at inter Strama is the besk coach we have acquire if not for injury is players have i strongly believe he will achieve something. He his 80% better than Pig nose WM. Forza inter
get some more experience, get some good fitness coach and then get back here and lead this team, stram. always wish the best for you
just looking back at the past and wonder if you had your players not injured during that time, you could last until now
I believe strama needs to find his own philosophy in football, it might be his winning 4-2-3-1 primavera formation or it might be something else.. if he tries out his luck in other clubs, he might be one of the best coaches. Although, he really needs to work on his defending tactics lol.
You should get a season with players you want and a whole troop! I think you can do very good in Inter!
jube beater!!! we love you man, good luck, hope to see you in inter hot seat again one day 🙂
And Milan beatet!
A packet of Hubba Bubba chewing gum would beat Milan as well.
Strama had picked up 27 points after his first 11 games of the season and in those 11, seven of them were consecutive wins. His Inter side were the first to beat Antonio Conte’s ‘Invincible’ Juve away from home, grabbed a win ‘away’ against Milan and beat Fiorentina at home. They did all this whilst being forced to cope with the extra workload that came with partaking in the Europa League. Trips to Azerbaijan, Romania and Russia all came in those early months of the young Coach’s tenure.
It all seemed to be running so smoothly for young Strama until the injuries started to kick in..
To be honest, Strama was inexperienced and too young at that time. But I still remember the way we played at Turin and dented Jube’s home record with three goals past Buffon. One of the best performance after the treble year. Surely, he got great talents to become great manager in the future. I wish Strama the best for his career and someday I hope he will come back again to prove his worth.
And i hope you can comeback again.
He just miss injured many players. With Inter squad now, I believe he get better than WM this season.
Forza strama, I don’t think he is bad, the way he develop the players especially the young players. He only miss the fixed formation and philosophy. He can develop to be a good coach. Hope to see you again in inter. Forza stramala
miss you STRAMALA !!
The 1st Inter coach i’ve ever seen, who beat juve with three strikers, 4-3-3, at juve stadium.. Someday i’m sure that he will comeback to Inter with more passion and great idea..and will be great coach for Inter..
Forza Inter stramala !!!
