Sampdoria’s assistant coach Nenad Sakic who was in charge of todays game spoke to Mediaset Premium and gave his thoughts on the game. “This is bad result for us. If haven’t watched the game then the score might mislead you. In the first half we fought with ten men, we had many chances to score but Handanovic was the best player on the field. Aside from saving the penalty he also made three other big saves.”
Icardi’s celebration? “The gestures against the fans and the club that has made him what he is truly shows what kind of a person he is.” Eder’s red card? “It’s always difficult to play with ten men, let alone against a great team like Inter. Eder was naive when trying to con Samuel.”

It’s not our problem when a man can’t satisfy his wife
You talk shit, yet Maxi was the one who even refused a handsake at the start. Check your team first before you go insulting other’s players.
I wouldn’t say it shows the type of person, more likely the attitude he has.. I for myself didn’t like it, seeing as Sakic also said, this was his former teammates and fans and he gave them nothing but trouble..
Trouble would be what Cassano delivered to his old sides surely?
icardi is awesome… Maxi lopez can go to hell i dont care.
Talk, talk, talk.
still confused. what kind of gestures did icardi shown so he was booked by the ref? i only watched him put his hand on his ear. was that so offensive? or did i miss something?
To be honest, the fact that he put his hand behind his ear was enough. Despite the fact players have done this countless times and have not been punished, the referee knew that this was a very specific situation because the crowd was angry at Icardi (for leaving the club and for the Maxi situation).
Icardi could have provoked an outrage by the crowd, and he deserved to be booked. He showed balls and turned out to be a hot shot, but could have cost his team a lot. He will probably learn not to do these things in the future as he grows more mature.
Right now, I’m just happy with him scoring goals.
as you said, many players have done that kind of celebration with vieri being the one i remember the most. but seeing the replay again, seems like the “come on” kind of hand gesture is what was considered as provoking the crowd. though i doubt it was a provoking kind of gestures seeing how he was already a number one enemy even before he did that gesture. but then again seems like the rules are yellow card if you provoked anyone in the game. pretty much as what adebayor did to arsenal’s fans. yes, he showed his balls and his mental toughness. that is the mentality needed to become a great player
Give him time. Quality is there, wife is there, still needs to work a bit on his attitude.
Wisely enough.. I am agree.. Icardi is young he will learn,it doesnt matter.
