Coach and commentator for Sky, Claudio Onofri, spoke about the Inter and Napoli managers during his appearance on the radio show ‘Si gonfia la rete’ on Radio Crc: “The football mindsets of Mazzarri and Benitez are very different: the Spaniard has an offensive philosophy while the Inter manager utilizes a primarily defensive strategy, relying on counter attacks. Comparing offensive or defensive philosophies? It is not necessarily the case that having an offensive mentality will always win and this was demonstrated in the game between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, where Ancelotti’s tactics were a bit closed and relied on counter attacks and Guardiola’s team ran the game. Because of this, neither method is more effective than the other, as the games are decided by the big players”

@Maikel
How funny you are Maikel. If you,me,and everyone else cant see what mazzarri is doing with youth players,how do you know and say about it? You cant see it too,right? So how do you know it is good or not? Or am i stupid enough to understand your english? Statistic says the truth,results reveal the fact,and the team performance proves how the training is held. I dont know everyone else,for me,i just never stop thinking like this: if we stuck with only 1 formation,what’s wrong with the idea of changing to other formation,further this year is a transition year for inter,right? Or maybe my brain is very simple so i am just a stupid fan compared to a genius one like you,Maikel? 😉
Ha ha ha, that’s so true, not to mention judging other fans as true fans or not, LoL. A fan who judge other fans is the type I hate the most, for me having a debate or fight between each fans is normal, just don’t judge, we have no rights to judge people is true fan or not.
so anyone can’t see what happened on the training ground. but only you and people like you who thinks they are smarter than the coach by saying play this player, play that player without even knowing how good or bad he was on training. even if you may not stupid but you just show some act of stupidity there. acting like you know everything. hahahaha ridiculous people
but at san paolo it was inter who was attacking and kept the ball very well with rolando dictating from the back, til ricky alvarez was sent off,and napoli was lucky, i remember that,the only thing that i dont like about mazzarri is 3 at the back and not giving andreolli chance, as i think he is much faster then rannochia,even stronger physically u can see that.
Yep, with Benitez you see the positives, you see that Napoli have a future, under Mazzarri, you don’t see it. You don’t see any improvement or movement forward, Benitez gives you that. Benitez also cares about the youth, which was much needed.
positive? a runner up team last year degrade to 3rd place and could do nothing in europe. you’re saying about improvement?
i just don`t understand all this hate for Mazzarri,
this ridiculous conspiracy theories about Mazzarri don`t cares about the youth player`s.
It`s just stupid and you can`t prov that, You , Me and Everyone els can`t se what Mazzarri is doing on the traning ground with Kovacic , Taider , Botta , Icardi and the other`s we have.
And my firend Benitez tok over a team Mazzarri
built from been nothing to been a CL team. so Napoli has a future becuse of Mazzarri and Inter has a future as well
benitez is a real joke.
let him build a team without money, and let see how far he can go.
@ Andrew – great minds think alike. Your vision is exactly what I see. It’s good to know someone on this site knows soccer.
@ slim_blues_boy – give the money that Napoli spent this off-season to Branca and you’ll end up with Ranocchia, Silvestre, Perreyra, Kuzmanovic, Belfodil, Silvestre, etc…..do you see what I’m hinting at? it’s not having money that’s important it’s how wisely you spend it!
Mazzari should take fourmen defence…
