Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio reportedly plans to stay at San Siro, despite Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal courting him.

According to Corriere della Sera via FCInterNews, the 53-year-old remains focused on continuing Inter’s long-term projects.

As if signing Simone Inzaghi days after the Champions League fiasco wasn’t painful enough, Al-Hilal plot another raid on Inter.

Indeed, the Saudis have set their sights on Piero Ausilio – one of the architects of Inter’s success in recent years.

Ausilio’s contract at San Siro runs out in 2027, and he will likely stay at the club for at least two more years.

Despite receiving a lucrative offer from Riyadh, he has pledged his loyalty to the Nerazzurri.

Therefore, Al-Hilal will probably miss out on his signature.

However, they’ve already contacted other high-profile names from Europe’s top-five leagues to fill the role.

Indeed, they have approached the directors of Chelsea and Liverpool as Ausilio has no intention of severing ties with Inter.
