Andrea Colombo will be the referee for Saturday’s Derby d’Italia clash between Juventus and Inter Milan.
The 34-year-old referee from Como will take charge of his eighth Inter match, with six of the previous seven ending in victory for the Nerazzurri.
In fact, Colombo had overseen six consecutive wins for Inter prior to April of this year, when Bologna beat Inter 1-0.
The referee took charge of sixteen games in Serie A last season.
In these games, he issued 68 yellow cards, 2 red cards and 2 penalties.
Juventus vs Inter Milan Referee Oversaw Controversial Bologna Goal

It was in April that Colombo’s streak of refereeing Inter victories came to an end.
The Nerazzurri travelled to Bologna for an important game in the Scudetto race.
It was a close-fought match before a last-minute winner from Riccardo Orsolini at the death.
Orsolini’s goal was controversial, however, coming from a Juan Miranda throw-in.
The Spanish defender took several steps forward from where he should have taken the throw from.
This led to protests from the Inter players.
An acrobatic finish from Orsolini granted the Rossoblu the three points.
