Inter Milan president Giuseppe Marotta has reflected on his time with Juventus and picked two Nerazzurri youngsters he expects to shine this season, ahead of the Derby d’Italia clash this evening.
Inter are in Turin today in what is a vital match against rivals Juventus. The Bianconeri have won both of their opening games of the season, against Parma and Genoa.
Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri smashed Juventus’ city-rivals Torino 5-0 in their season opener.
However, a 2-1 defeat to Udinese at San Siro left a sour taste in Inter mouths heading into the international break.
Inter Milan President Marotta On Juventus And Brightest Youngsters

Speaking to DAZN prior to this evening’s game, with quotes via FcInterNews, Marotta answered questions from reporters.
The president revealed “We always talk to Chivu.”
“He’s very experienced, having played many great matches. He’s used to it, he doesn’t need my advice.”
Marotta stressed the importance of today’s game, “this is the Derby d’Italia and it goes beyond the final score.”
The president appeared impressed with “Sucic and Esposito” and backed the two youngsters to succeed this season.
He also reflected on his time as CEO at Juventus between 2010 and 2018.
“I can’t forget the time I spent in Turin,” Marotta said, “But today I am president of Inter – who I love as much as I love my job.
“I love these colours. So far we’ve done reasonably well.”
Marotta played us all, he brought in a few good players then has trolled us with the players this year..
Anyone could see players like de bruyne / hojlund / David would dominate this league.
We were linked with everybody and instead bought a load of shit that will never be good enough.
Napoli are gonna walk this scudetto.
The owners gave 100m and we bought absolute garbage!!
That’s on ausilio and marotta not Oaktree!
Marotta should STFU and focus on working. He is becoming a media whore.
Marotta should STFU and focus on wirking. He is becoming a media whore.
Inter having a president like Marotta is a joke. The results show it clearly.
#MarottaOut #OaktreeOut
lauti always acts tough, but whenever he receives the ball, he falls like amateur. crybaby. and why the fuck is he always dropping deep when nobody’s making forward? are we gonna see his bad form until december every year now?
stop playing with 7 midfielders and doing passing drill in the final third. we used to pass around in the back now we moved it into final third and let opponents ready to defense. everyone doesn’t know what to do and expect hakan unlocks the goal by long range shooting. ridiculous
this team seriously needs real goddamn striker and whoever says mhiki is done needs to shut the fuck up.
yep… Lautaro played like an amateur in this game
Marotta time has passed and Inter need to move on. One scudetto in five years is nothing short of disaster. Marotta winning models are currently outdated and he should leave the club.
I guess you are right
Also, 3 losses in european finals.
