There has been a large amount of criticism leveled at Walter Mazzarri by Inter fans after the derby defeat last night. Due to the loss, the club has decided to cancel the rest day in order to better prepare for the match against Lazio. It was reported in the “Corriere dello Sport” that Nerazzurri fans went on a Twitter rampage after the game, expressing their opinions on what they deemed to be an inadequate approach to an important derby game.

He should never have got off the hot seat after a brutal January! When you hire Mazzarri as coach this is the kind of soccer he plays – robotic – boring – military like soccer. But inter fans are not picky about the kind of soccer they watch – all that matters is the final score and that is very desperate. Mazzarri will never change the formation and if Juventus proved anything it’s that the 3-5-2 doesn’t work in Europe. Conte will switch his strategy next season because he knows how but will Mazzarri be capable of it? remains to be seen.
As far as I concern, if inter played like they did against Milan for the rest of the season they can re-sign him for another 10 years I would love it !! but then again, I don’t give a crap about anyone below 3rd place.

The derby loss isn’t a problem. But those who really love Inter are hurt so much when the most beloved player around the world can’t get his proper salute at his last derby all thanks to Mazzarri.
